Travel Trends Not Scams

Tourism and leisure are marching forward proving to be recognizable forces in the global economy. The industry is changing where factors like environment, technology, globalization, and a number of other things affect the market. What I am referring to are travel trends not scams, and being able to recognize these travel trends and adjust accordingly is what will separate those that are in the industry. Certain companies have specifically segmented their markets into niches in order to gain advantage with a particular group, just another way the changing tides are being used to ones advantage.

If you went to Google’s search engine and entered travel trends 2008 you will find a list of credible company sites whose occupations are to track the trends of the travel industry year by year. They give an in depth analysis through the use of surveys, the latest news and prior data to come up with the year’s industry projections.

All of these sources have noted that the economy has slowed down a bit. But even with this, travel is still projected to continue only with the length of stay being shortened by perhaps a day or two off of normal vacations.

For those that plan to venture abroad, more travel will be done in places where the dollar is strongest. Latin America and Asia’s smaller countries are attractive to many because of this reason as opposed to Europe where things are much more expensive. People will continue to travel but will look for more cost effective ways to make it happen.

But where will people seek to find related travel information? Yep, you are correct, the internet. Data and research shows that 83% use the internet to research and purchase travel. That is a lot. So basically, between 8 and 9 people out 10 use technology for their travel research. America has over 300 million people. You do the math.

Big companies and tycoons take note of these trends and value their importance. They realize that some have environmental concerns which can’t be overlooked, hence eco-tourism. They know that baby boomers are 70% of the U.S net worth and are looking to take cruises, go to spas, and to resorts. Research companies have been contacted and they’ve reported to the tycoons that the younger crowd, GenX, will travel abroad more, are more tech savvy, and will spend more money while abroad.

They also have come to know that there is a reason sites like youtube and facebook get over a million visits per day. Be it online or off social networks allow many the opportunities to interact with each other and stay a breast of different things. There is a neighboring city in the state where I live which has built an apartment community specifically targeting the older “well-to-do” crowd. The monthly fee is at least $3500. I’m willing to bet your right arm that the bulk of the members will be because the rich members will tell their rich friends about the place.

Simply go to goolge and enter travel trends 2008 and you will see that these are indeed travel trends not scams conjured up to mislead you. If travel is in your near future or you have a network where travel is prevalent you may want to consider an exciting travel business where you can pay yourself for organizing and doing all of the work.

Travel And Network Marketing

Travel and network marketing combined is a powerful unit which has the potential to reshape both industries. There have been several companies to come along that have recognized this and are rapidly growing their businesses. Some will insist that these companies and their products are scams but like it or not, travel is America’s number one product and network marketing is intensifying people’s opinion about the industry.

It was a wise concept to join social marketing with travel. Successful businesses know that referrals are good for positive, long lasting growth. Its evident that some savvy business people did what they were supposed to do…research a hot market and find a way to capitalize on it. After they committed themselves to a product they only needed to focus on cost effective ways to advertise and sell the products. What more cost effective way than social marketing (network marketing).

Internet marketers and other major businesses have a similar marketing system called affiliate marketing. The internet marketing gurus wouldn’t think of creating and marketing a product without either setting up an affiliate program or joint venturing with others.

Each of these travel businesses, using network marketing as their main marketing tool, has their pluses and minuses. I would say that one of the main pluses is not having to store a room or garage full of product. Just direct a person to a site or vendor and your work is done. The hardest part is keeping yourself educated about the new industry that you are in. And this is probably a major minus for these businesses. People are getting into a business without really knowing the industry they are in. This is where the company has to step up and offer continuous, required training for its representatives.

Technology has been the main driving force behind this market shift. People are no longer relying on someone else to plan their travels for them. We now have immediate access to all the information we want so planning something for ourselves and family is not daunting anymore. Its now a simple task of typing in the travel site of your choice in the search engine and reserving a spot or more. What makes the juice a little sweeter in this scenario is that if travel is your product you make money from such efforts.

The baby boomers are going to kick this rocket into overdrive. Studies have shown that the group which has been behind every major economic movement will be going into retirement until at LEAST 2012. After having worked for many years now it is time for them to play a little. But I also think that younger individuals will find this model attractive because again, with technology, information and features about places are very accessible. Nothing seems distant anymore. A 25, 26, 27 year old doesn’t want to wait until he is 55 to go Europe. He is definitely ready to take advantage of opportunities.

Individuals are going to become wealthy from this collaboration, no doubt about it, and its not just going to be the company’s owners either. People are going to able to put something away for their families for generations to come.

The company that I’m associated with has a goal to make over ten thousand millionaires. I can see this happening with the way they are systematically opening up different countries. If you have been considering a travel and network marketing company I encourage you to get started with one these many fine companies sooner rather than later.

Network Marketing Will Be Your Oyster

Network Marketing will be your oyster if you develop an attraction for the UN sexy. Certain aspects can be overlooked when it comes to business but there are a few that, if neglected, will ensure the stagnation of your business. They are not attractive. In fact, they are more of an acquired taste and developed habits.

A duplicative system can be a powerful tool in your network marketing efforts. It makes the actions you are taking easy to follow. This is probably one of the main reasons why people who get involved with network marketing run around clueless. Their upline never took the time to implement an easy to follow system and so the newbies are unsure of effective actions they should take.

But the key here is making the system easy to follow. Its not wise to go out and spend large sums of money on your business. Not everyone is at the same economic level and people need to know that whatever position they are in they will be able to get started without depleting the reserves that they have. People will see your actions as ones they will have to take to be successful so the simpler the better.

Tracking is another unattractive but essential part of your network marketing business. A person should always be aware of the results of the efforts they are taking. In school, the exams and progress reports are all forms of tracking devices which inform the student where he is excelling and also where he needs work. Likewise, in business, tracking can let you know where your money is being well utilized or is being wasted.

If you find that you aren’t getting the desired results all that maybe necessary is a small change which could result in a large return.

Not only could excessive use of money be protected by tracking but also the excessive use of time. As a business owner, your time may sometimes be more valuable than money. This is definitely a challenge because no matter if you are marketing online or offline everything takes time, and usually more than you would like. You basically want your efforts to be swift and effective and tracking really helps to pinpoint everything you are doing.

As you are tracking your marketing efforts and implementing or working your duplicative system make sure that you are being consistent. The secret of many successful marketers is that they do something productive everyday. Without fail, daily they lay one or two building blocks to their projects.

I heard one champion say that you shouldn’t start the day until you have finished the day, meaning you should know what your efforts are going to be before the day even begins.

One such practical exercise is to write out a list of 3 to 5 things you want to accomplish the following day. Make a sincere effort to do this daily until it becomes a habit.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that you can be productive once or twice a few days a week and reap the returns of a successful business. Consistency is necessary to form good habits as well as put you on the path of steady progress.

If you develop an attraction for the unattractive network marketing will be your oyster. Give constant, conscious attention to these areas and realize that what you are dealing with can help you fulfill many worthwhile dreams.

So You Are Considering Network Marketing

If you are considering network marketing, let me be the first to congratulate you. It’s a journey for those who are determined to be successful and persistent in their efforts. Please, make no mistake, if you have any plans of making it in any entrepreneurial pursuit, network marketing or not, there will be work involved. If you have a vision and don’t mind taking consistent action to make that vision materialize then you are on the right track.

But before you move forward with your plans of getting started in network marketing make sure that you investigate a few things. Nothing is set in stone and will guarantee the success you want. You can, however, greatly improve the likely hood that you will achieve what you desire by doing a little research beforehand.

The first thing to look for is the stability of the company you are considering. The longer a company has been around, the more chance of it staying around. There are enough things to worry about in network marketing, such as sponsoring and advertising, without having to wonder if your company will be around next year.

Basically, your ideal company has been in business for 2 to 5 years. There is really something about companies that have already “stood the test of time”.

Even if you were able to build the biggest downline and become the highest earner in the company, it would not matter if they suddenly shut down. Generally, a company with a longer track record has more chances of longevity.

But, I must point out once again that nothing is set in stone so if you see an opportunity for yourself with a new company (less than 2 years old) and are confident with the ins and outs of the company, then, by all means, march forward. You are the beginning and end to this process.

The second thing to look for is the one in charge of the company. Who is the president, and who are the directors? What is their track record? Have they spent time in the network marketing industry, or are they new to it all? What businesses have they been involved with in the past?

If you do not know the answer to these questions, call or email the company to find out. It is critical to know the answers to these questions from the outset. If you plan to spend many years with the company, you will want to be dealing with people who are honest, savvy, and have integrity in and outside of the business world.

And be cautious where you get your information from when investigating this area. There are many “trashy” things on the internet which are presented to individuals that put one company down in order to uplift another.

Why not get all of the company’s policies and procedures from the company itself and then from there, if necessary, start investigating other resources? There are tons of good companies out there who would be more than happy to provide you with all the information you want.

Third and definitely not least is the product that is being marketed. Make sure that the company’s product is something the market is looking for. This is a basic but vital point. If the product is not in demand you may have a difficult time distributing it. And lets be honest here, the only reason you are considering network marketing or any other business is to make money.

Network Marketing Is Getting Screwed

Network Marketing is getting screwed by everyone who writes an article or posts something negative about the industry or a company. Freedom of speech gives people the right to voice their own views but in doing so people’s outlooks are being manipulated. Well, neither you nor I can stop someone from giving an opinion but we can “change the channel”, so to speak.

Its easy to go online and find all sorts of articles and press releases by individuals, usually not involved in the industry, bashing either a company or network marketing. I am only 32 years old but it has been my experience that people who usually talk down on someone or something in great detail are always negative. You are never going to please them. I am sure that we could fill at last two pages of ruled paper with their gripes. Its too hot, the dog barks too loud, the cat is too fluffy, the kids are playing too loudly, etc.

And what about the individuals who take these king griper’s information as solid advice saying, “thanks for stopping me from making a big mistake”. Please, they probably weren’t going to join anyway.

I am not promoting that network marketing and some companies do not have their flaws because its not true. It would be naïve of me to feel this way but feedback from unaccredited sources should not be cultured and made into a “niche” product. The government has several systems set in place to continuously and thoroughly test the validity of the industry and companies. I would even venture to say that it is the nature of the screening agencies to play the devil’s advocate just to ensure that companies follow strict procedures.

This means, we do not need any extra input from the peanut gallery.

The king gripers say that, in network marketing, only the few at the top make money. This is true but those at top had to come from somewhere. I am sure they are not there without any struggle, either presently or earlier in their journey. I am sure they did not get there without shedding a few tears. But one truthful fact is that if one person can make it, lots of others can.

Look at a heavily populated business street in your city. Out of the 50 or 100 brick and mortars I am willing to bet that less than one third are making any real money. And those who are at the top, like anyone else, had to work to get there. Its not easy for the average person to be successful in any business endeavor but should that should stop him from trying. Look at what you become in the process of striving forward. Money is the minor value.

Its disheartening to see people basically crush others hopes and dreams because they are scared to dream big.

What better way for a person to develop than by associating with network marketing individuals who want to live well and build a positive atmosphere around themselves.

Be wise. Do not risk loosing all of your positive energy on these grippers. Do not reply to any of there articles, comments, or post. It amazes me to see how people will fill up a “hate” article with hundreds of replies but will not make one comment on someone’s post about their company or the industry. Spend your time around and in places that will provide valuable business building information.

Tim Sales loves the industry as does Todd Falcone. Mike Dillard’s magnetic sponsoring is a nice place to network. Support these and many other individuals who respect the industry. Comment on their post not the idiots who talk down on your life changing opportunity.
